Hailing from New Jersey, Nicholas Bredimus brought software, hospitality, and airlines together and to the benefit of these industries. His career highlights include effort-saving software, airplane safety advancements, and even the design of high-value houses. His pedigree tells you everything you might want to know concerning the source of his talents and the tremendous amount he has done. Bringing elements together from a true melting pot, his clan traces back into ancient history, with the maternal side rooted in Germany and Scotland. An equally varied blend dominates the paternal line; ahead of emigrating near the end of the nineteenth century, the family lived in England and Luxembourg. Naturally, following emigration to America, the family retained its immaculate work ethic and zeal to thrive and survive. Part of a family of seven children, Nicholas had a father working as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. His residences over the course of several years were spread across a number of states. What, you might ask, did Bredimus do with his heritage and studies? He would soon embark on a string of prominent jobs, all working with popular airlines. These included the Vice Presidential role for Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, and even Hughes Airwest. All these accomplishments nothwithstanding, the airlines have felt the need to thank him even more for his innovation in software programming. He is best known for one particular project, namely his aircraft maintenance programs which come into use by the majority of airlines. He programmed several other computerized solutions for the hotel and airline sectors in addition, including completely automatic routines to deal with airline bookings, employed now at fifty or more firms, not to mention the world’s first PC based room reservation program for the hotel sector, which was initially installed at over seven hundred hostelries. And next came QuikTix, an automated, networked system for ticket ordering which stands as a first. Mr Nicholas Bredimus has been appointed to a number of positions entirely outside of software design, don’t forget. Responsible positions with American Express and American Airlines were to come, and in the biggest move of all he founded his own business seventeen years ago.
Though he has withdrawn from the roles in which he first tasted success, his capabilities are nonetheless still exercised daily. His interest now is with the architectural concerns bound up in the creation of environmentally sound, technologically advanced upscale homes. It’s really astonishing how far passion will take you…
